Landfill Fee Increase!
To discourage landfill use and encourage greater recycling, the County of Orange has increased public landfill fees as follows:
- Large Trucks from $27 per ton to $46 per ton of waste disposed.
- Small Pick-Up Trucks (i.e. less than an 880 pound load) from $12 to $20 per load.
You can avoid this fee increase by recycling more and taking your waste and recyclables to a Material Recovery Facility (MRF)
or other recycling facility instead of the landfill.
